POISON Ivy - Batman
Why this costume:
During Hurricane Irma that was gonna hit here in Florida I needed something to keep myself busy. So, I decided to do my own take on Poison Ivy one of my favorite Batman characters.

I knew with the power not being something I could rely on I had to pick a costume that I could use a base for and to hand sew by candle if I needed. I started with a store bought corset I had laying around from DragonCon party times...that just happen to be green. I then glued and hand stitched (in strategic places) the leaves onto the complete corset.
I then also did the same to the bottoms. I had some lace (with leaves) l picked up on clearance some time back because...I thought it was pretty and decided to also attach the leave to that. I glued them to the lace trying not to leave visible marks on the leaves. I made a necklace piece out of a few leaves I sewed together and then attached that to some of the lace for a choker.
Again, this was my own take on her that I wanted to do as a craft during a hurricane. Considering I made it in two days, I was rather happy with the results!
