Nanami - Female Design
Why this costume:
I absolutely adore Nanami. I knew it was a simple design, but a fun one I could make and wear casually while still enjoying the character!
Basically, I just wanted an excuse to dress as one of my anime husbands!
Details Construction:
Most of this costume was simply modified. I decided the design I wanted to go with and went from there, utilizing everyday clothing. I felt a business length skirt was appropriate for the more feminine look. Along with that, I wanted to update the tie, so I did a scarf. I was thinking something similar to a designer scarf motif style. I still had the harnesses under my jacket.
The glasses were a gift! John actually makes them so if you want an accurate pair I can't recommend his enough. I just used eyelash glue to adhere them to my face, but spirit gum would work too. You can check them out here: Glasses
