Medusa - Soul Eater cosplay
Why this costume:
Soul Eater and doing Soul Eater cosplay costumes was consuming my thoughts! There are so many characters in the series that I love. Medusa is definitely one of them too!
Details:
This was probably one of my favorite costumes to wear around at a convention. I got a Hood...a tail...and most of all I got to walk around barefoot for photos! Couldn't ask for much more.
I had the most fun making the tail. The entire costume was fairly simply so I don't feel there are too many details to add on about it. I didn't use a pattern for this costume. Instead made it into two parts with elastic for the waist. I used the left over material from my Matsumoto costume to make this one. The hood detail I then painted on!
I painted my nails with the same arrows that Medusa has. Then, day of event, used a Sharpie to add her snake tattoos.
I think the hardest part was the wig. Cutting and shaping, twisting, layering, it was a bit of work.
