Conker - Conker Bad Fur Day
Why this costume:
I absolutely love Conker. The Conker Bad Fur Day game defined part of my childhood gaming experience. Okay...younger days...not childhood. Then, when they re-released in on Xbox Conker Live and Reloaded actually made me not afraid to play live and online with others. I played that game online soooo much I never again had verse anxiety. It really allowed me out of my shell for online gaming and I will be forever grateful for that.
Details Construction:
Conker is a Squirrel. But I didn't want to do too much of a fur version. A gijinka version, or humanized version of him. This was my first attempt at making ears...and boy did I hate them. I'd love to revisit this some time and really get a good version of him made. It was a lot of fun to throw things together. The skirt was stolen from my Nami costume...since Conker doesn't wear pants in the original, I thought this would be a good touch. I also painted my shoes, for that iconic Conker shoe look! <3
