Yae - Goemon Mononoke Sugoroku
Why this costume:
I love the Ganbare Goemon series and quite frankly it doesn't get nearly enough love. So, I decided to give Yae along with hopefully some of the other characters the love that they deserve.
Details:
I made this costume in a process of a couple days. I was bored and wanted to make something and thought, why not? I did her version from the Mini game inspired Goemon: Mononoke Sugoroku. Her outfit is a little different comprised of a mini skirt instead of pants and short sleeves on the top opposed to long. I selected this version due to the amount of purple fabric I had on hand for a project. I, unfortunately, did not have enough of the purple to make pants.
I drafted my own pattern for the skirt and used a pattern I had modified some time ago for the top. The belt I made to loop around twice to allow for the bow she has in front. That's about it, nothing much more to the costume! I just really wanted to show some love for a series that's been with my for a long time!
