Selena Corey (Singer) Cosplay - Resident Evil Requiem
Why this costume:
I've been obessed with Resident Evil Requiem. After cosplaying several other character from the game, I decided I wanted to do yet another! This time a little "spookier!"
Details Construction:
I started with thrifting a similar dress to Selena's. While not perfect, I knew I could modify it to add those additional details to make it more accurate. This included completely restructuring the front of the top including adding a ruffled gather to the trim. I also added a slit to the dress similar to hers.
After I was happy with the modification to the dress it was the adding of "gore." This was added with the use of makeup, paint, and fake fx blood. I simply continued to layer it until I was happy with the results.
Wig:
The wig was cut from my Spider Mother Cosplay. I then added the same makeup to the roots on the wig.
