Regina - Dino Crisis
Why this costume:
Survivor Horror is one of my favorite Genre's. Just like growing up with Resident Evil I grew up playing Dino Crisis too. I never really thought to cosplay Regina, until I replayed this game a few years ago and got to experience it as an adult. It was then I decided to make Regina!
Details:
The costume itself is actually two suits. I knew it would be easier to make and wear with the black bodysuit being a second piece to put on. I made the grey under suit out of stretch Lycra. It had a basic turtle neck style collar and a zipper in the back. I did not include sleeves, but did make my fingerless gloves out of the same material.
The black portion was actually black stretch vinyl I had left over from a previous project. The suit itself is actually completely sewn up. Since it stretches, I was able to just slip it on over the bodysuit. No closures necessary! Though I suppose if you wanted one adding a zipper to the side would probably be the easiest. It was a basic bodysuit pattern, so I just drafted the pattern and sewed it together. Finalizing the shape through trying it on over the fitting process.
The black gloves and boots were from other costumes as well as the belt and holster. I was able to utilize them on her costume too!
