Marionette - FNAF

Why this costume:
So, love it/hate it everyone is familiar with Five Nights at Freddy's (FNAF). Personally, I adore so many aspects of the game...from the game play to the amazing story and lore hidden within. The community has come together in amazing ways to figure out the hidden story and this thrills me. I picked the Marionette because I knew I had the proper make-up from my Moxxi and Hisako projects and because though Chica is my favorite, it allowed me to carry around my adorable plushie!
Details Construction:
Pretty much this costume was all things purchased and modified to work with the look of the Marionette. I put this costume together for something simple and fun to wear on one of my down periods at Dragoncon.
Make-up:
The base is Mehron white set with white Mehron setting powder. I then drew on the red cheek circles with red lipstick and set it with red eyeshadow. I carefully drew the mouth portion over the lips and up to the circles on each side. It was drawn with a liquid eye liner in black and filled with a black eyeliner pencil and finally set with black eye shadow. With the mouth in place I could begin the eyes and then the iconic tears. Starting with the eyes, I made very open and angular black eyes. with very little blending out. I wanted them to be sharp. From there I took a purple eyeliner pencil and drew out my tear lines. I then just filled it in with purple eye shadow. The final touch were the top and bottom lips that I used the same red lipstick as with the cheeks to give the illusion of a large and open mouth. I finished the look with white contacts for when my eyes were open!
Chica:
Chica was purchased from my good friend and other FNAF fan Janet, of NightmarenCrafts. You can get one of your own by following the link in her name. She makes almost every character and they are some of the best made plushies out there. 10/10 Would recommend.
