The Huntress - Dead by Daylight (Kitty)

Why this costume:
I was in love with cosplaying Huntress, and when they announced a Kitty mask it was destiny! I had to complete her.
Details Construction:
Research:
Luckily, this time around most of the research I had already completed. What little I didn't know Behaviour was amazing and included in the costume description.
Coat:
I actually had a whole bolt of some green fabric I originally bought on sale and had no purpose for it. Just one of those things I collected.
I drew out the pattern on the fabric and went to town. It's a basic coat, so I didn't feel like a store bought pattern was necessary. I used Brown bias and sewed it to the coat for the line details. Then, Like all my Horror costumes and my previous huntress, it was going to town distressing. This was probably the most time consuming, other than hand sewing and measuring the buttons. I used the same techniques for weathering as I did on Default Huntress and The Nurse.
Pants:
I had some old black work pants. I sewed on red bias for her stripe. :)
Weapons:
Seriously, all credit here goes to my friend James over at: HighlanderFX
He made both the throwing hatchet and the amazing Axe I have in the photos. I did some light painting on the Axe for detail purposes but all other work was his. To get a better look you can check out his Instagram with progress photos! Heck all his work is amazing...go look. Seriously.
Mask:
My Mask was commissioned. I used MaskforSale on Etsy to make the custom piece. You can actually still purchase this mask from him!
Scarf and Fur:
The fur was actually recycled and taken from an existing coat that was given to me. The green underscarf was dark green fabric distressed, of course, and closed with velcro. The top floral pieces was actually made from a scarf I picked up from Target. It wasn't perfect, but it was really close!
Make-up:
Mehron Paradise in: Black and red. Snazaroo in Light Grey and Dark Grey. Lots of time...and love to apply. I sealed it with Mehron Sealing Spray and All Nighter Long-Lasting Setting spray by Urban Decay.
