Freddy Krueger - Bishoujo Version
Why this costume:
Growing up Freddy Krueger was my first horror movie run in. While staying with my grandmother my cousin and I snuck into one of the spare rooms and spent all night watching the "forbidden movies" my uncle had left over on VHS. They were the Freddy movies and that forbidden fruit became a love of a character. When I saw the Bishoujo design I loved it, and knew I wanted to make it
Details Construction:
So, this costume was really simple. I bought the Glove off Amazon. It was one of the higher end, official models made of real metal...because I mean...who doesn't want one anyway? The top was modified from a similar dress purchased second hand off eBay and ripped apart.
The Hat I made myself out of some fake pleather I had lying around. The shorts are actually my go-to shorts and the same ones I used for Poison. The black legging was sewn for some extra "wet look" fabric I had laying around. Otherwise the wig I owned as with the boots.
A HUGE thank you to Ann for being a trooper and dealing with me when I asked her to please be my Jason! <3
