Cranberry - No more Heroes
Cranberry is from the anime series Pure White Lover Bizarre Jelly that was featured in the game No More Heroes. I absolutely love that game and I thought this design was too cute not to make! It was a dream of mine to get all three of the girls together for a group!
Construction:
This costume was one that was actually made on impulse. I had the materials just kind of in my fabric closet so I just started sewing it. I think that's psychologically why I bought the yellow fabric to begin with!
I drafted all the patterns for this myself. I improvised and made the costume out of materials I had in my sewing closet. The black portion of the skirt was stretch poplin I had leftover from a previous project...and the yellow fabric was...something I found on clearance at work and just decided to buy the whole bolt.
The black fabric on my head piece was also some left over fabric from a piece I was working on some time ago. I lined it with the yellow fabric I had and added the bottom scalloped details.
Over all...the costume was just an impulse that I worked on over a span of a couple months. Using what supplies I had and working with anything I had laying around.
I spent about $10 on this costume if you don't include the wig...so I consider it a job well done!
